A.P. Møller-Mærsk A/S engages in shipping, energy, transportation, offshore drilling, and retail activities. It operates through the following segments: Maersk Line, APM Terminals, Damco, Svitzer, Maersk Oil, Maersk Drilling, Maersk Supply Service, and Maersk Tankers. The Maersk Line segment provides global container services. The APM Terminals segment involves in container terminal activities, inland transportation, container depots and repair of containers. The Damco segment segment provides freight forwarding and supply chain management services. The Svitzer segment provides towage, salvage and emergency response activities. The Maersk Oil segment engages oil and gas production and exploration activities. The Maersk Drilling segment provides offshore drilling services focused in ultra-harsh and ultra deepwater environments. The Maersk Supply Service segment segment supplies vessel activities with anchor handling and platform supply vessels. The Maersk Tankers segment engages in tanker shipping of crude oil, oil products and gas.
