VARANASI: Sparks flew at the BHU mortuary on Wednesday when the traumatised families of those killed in the flyover crash were asked to cough up bribes for autopsies on their kin.
A video of a morgue sanitary employee seeking money for a post-mortem went viral, an FIR was lodged and he was arrested. The BHU administration also suspended the accused, Banarasi, hospital spokesperson Rajesh Singh said.

District magistrate and divisional commissioner Deepak Agrawal set up camp at the mortuary after the bribe video went viral and eased the procedure for handing over of bodies.
