Police search for missing puppy stolen from North Fremantle home
WA Police are searching for the last puppy still missing from a litter that was snatched from a North Fremantle home late last week during a brazen burglary.
The break-in is believed to have happened between midday and 6.45pm on Sunday evening, with an unknown person forcing entry into the house on Stirling Highway.
The offender stole five French bulldog puppies.
Resident Zemina Pasic said she and her sister had been looking after the puppies for a breeder when they returned home to find the litter missing.
"They're all really beautiful and they're only five weeks old," she told 9 News Perth.
"For someone to not know what they eat and how specific it is, it can cause a lot of damage to the puppies and they can die.
"It's really heartbreaking and upsetting that someone could do this."
Later on Sunday afternoon, four of the five puppies were dumped at Murdoch Animal Hospital by an unknown person.
However a six-week-old male puppy is still missing.
Police have since released a CCTV image of a man who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident or knows the whereabouts of the puppy has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
