The All Ceylon Private Bus Association (ACPBA) called off the countrywide strike scheduled for tomorrow following the discussions with Transport Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva a short while ago, the sources said.
They said the Minister had approved to increase bus fare by 12.5 per cent and accordingly minimum bus fare would be Rs. 12 with effect from May 22 midnight. (CS)
