A 23-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving after she drove her car into the back of a parked school bus, killing her male passenger.
Toronto paramedics say they were called to the scene just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. They say the man, who was in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was also injured, and was taken to hospital by paramedics in serious but stable condition.
The pair were driving on Lake Shore Boulevard between Thirteenth and Fifteenth streets when the SUV the woman was driving crashed into the bus, crushing the vehicle's passenger side.
Crash / Closure: Lake Shore Blvd is closed between 13th and 15th following a serious crash in Etobicoke. The male passenger was vital signs absent then revived.
