PANAJI: Light to moderate rain with thunderstorm lashed parts of the state, including the capital on Wednesday. The India meteorological department (IMD),
Panaji, has forecast identical conditions for the state for the next two days.
While no centre in Goa recorded any rainfall during the last 24 hours, the moisture incursion increased towards the evening and light to moderate rainfall was witnessed in many parts.
IMD has issued a warning, valid for 24 hours, for fishermen in
South Maharashtra and Goa coast not to venture out to sea.
