Almost 1,200 seniors are expected to graduate next week at commencements for Hilliard's Bradley, Darby and Davidson high schools.
"As we celebrate the successes of the class of 2018, my hope is that they continue to challenge their own beliefs," said Superintendent John Marschhausen. "Whether they head to the job force, the military or college, they will need to embrace the discomfort of questioning their choices and make intentional, purposeful decisions based on new information.
"These are the leaders of tomorrow, and I know that when they walk across the stage on graduation night, they will be ready for their own tomorrow."
The commencement ceremonies will be at 7 p.m. May 23, 24 and 25 at Jerome Schottenstein Center, 555 Borror Drive, on the campus of Ohio State University.
Davidson's 409 seniors will graduate Wednesday, May 23.
"I am extremely proud of the graduating class of 2018," principal Aaron Cookson said. "As a group, they have performed well in the classroom, in the arts and in athletics."
Davidson's class also has "demonstrated exemplary leadership" throughout the school year, Cookson said.
"Through their leadership, they have left an indelible mark on Davidson and their community through their countless hours of hard work, dedication and service," he said.
Davidson's class of 2018 speakers will be valedictorian Michelle D'mello, salutatorian Faris Rehman and class historian Max Chapin.
Darby's 373 seniors will graduate Thursday, May 24.
"These students are some of the brightest, passionate, hopeful, committed and kind students to ever walk our hallways," principal Joyce Brickley said. "It has been a pleasure to watching them grow into mature young men and woman who have not only made an impact on 'Panther Nation' but also the Hilliard community."
Speakers for Darby's class of 2018 – the school's 20th graduating class – will be valedictorian Durya Nadeem and salutatorian Jamie Walters.
Bradley's 410 seniors will graduate Friday, May 25.
"This class has a passion for leadership, service and school spirit," principal Mindy Mordarski said. "Many have been honored for their academic and extracurricular excellence. We are very proud of our students and look forward to seeing where their future takes them."
