EU sets out to salvage Iran nuclear deal

The (EU) has taken its first step to help salvage the nuclear deal after the exit.

In a 90-minute meeting, Zarif hinted that the deal is on the right track.

Further, EU insisted that the European institutions are committed to saving the nuclear deal.

Mogherini further said the EU cannot provide a legal and economic guarantee to but will ensure steady investment flow in the coming weeks.

She is scheduled to meet the again next week.

On May 9, withdrew from the deal while calling it unfair and warned of severe consequences if Iran resumes its nuclear programme.
