Hello, there, mate! It's the 2018 Mini John Cooper Works Hardtop.
The JCW treatment includes Brembo brakes, an upgraded suspension and a rear spoiler.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine knocking out 228 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque. That's 39 more horses than the Cooper S and a whopping 94 more horses than the Cooper.
Just be prepared for a harsh ride. The JCW sports hard run-flat, all-season tires, turning a sporty road feel downright uncomfortable.
Upper trims include an adaptive suspension, which should mitigate some of that harshness.
Despite its small footprint, the Mini has a pretty airy cabin thanks to an optional panoramic roof.
Driver's aids are nearly nil, but the optional navigation system features one-box entry. Apple CarPlay is available but Android users are left behind.
There is 34 cubic feet of space in the Mini with the rear seats folded down.
An aviation-inspired cockpit features all the toggle switches you could possibly want.
The 2018 Mini John Cooper Works Hardtop starts at $31,800, but our tester model featured here tips the bank account at $39,850. Keep scrolling for more pictures of this adorbs little pocket rocket.
