Are you in a tizzy about the wedding of Britain's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle? Maybe you need a special beer to calm your nerves for the royal occasion.

Somerville Brewing Company, brewers of Slumbrew, has just the beer for you. On Friday, they will release English Wedding in tribune to the royal wedding. English Wedding is a 6.8 percent alcohol by volume English IPA.

The beer will be on tap exclusively at all Slumbrew locations in Somerville.

On Saturday, the brewery will run the rebroadcast of the wedding on some of its TVs, so you can toast the happy couple as they walk down the aisle.

Lone Pine launches

Next week, Lone Pine Brewing Company of Portland, Maine, will be coming to Massachusetts.

They will be bringing their line of beers that include Portland Pale Ale, Brightside IPA, Crush Puppy and Oh-J Double IPA.

The Public House in Brookline will host a launch party on May 24 from 5 p.m. to midnight. At the same time, Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont will host a tasting from 5 to 7 p.m. Brewery personnel will be at both locations.

There will also be Lone Pine tastings on May 25 at the Fort Point Market in Boston from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on May 26 at Total Wine in Danvers from noon to 4 p.m.

Pierogis and polkas

The one beer event I regretted missing last year was Notch Brewing’s Polish Festival.

Luckily for me, it’s back. Notch will hold its second Polish Festival on June 10 at its Salem brewery from noon to 5 p.m.

The event will feature two beers brewed exclusively for the event – Polish Lager and Grodziskie Smoked Wheat. Both will be available in liter mugs. if you follow me on any of my social media accounts, you know I’m a fan of drinking out of my Notch liter mug.

Along with Notch beer, there will be pierogi, kielbasa and sauerkraut from Jaju Pierogi, and All Janik’s Plastcyny Ser Orkestra will entertain with polka music.

There is no cover charge, but Notch recommends people arrive early to make sure they get in.

Tiny bubbles

Everyone knows beer is my first love, but many do not know that seltzer is my friend with benefits, specifically Polar Seltzer from Worcester.

So, imagine my excitement when Harpoon Brewery announced they were teaming up with Polar to brew a “Berry-Limited” release beer.

The result is the UFO Blueberry Lemonade Beer.

The 4.8 percent ABV beer is a wheat ale brewed with blueberries and lemonade.

"Our brewers worked closely with the team from Polar to select a delicious flavor from their Seltzer'ade line that would pair well with a class wheat beer," Harpoon wrote in a release. "Flavor adventure is about to take on a whole new meaning with this partnership!"

Blueberry Lemonade is one of the best Polar flavors, so now I need to find this beer. Maybe they’ll do a beer with Polar's crazy popular Unicorn Kisses seltzer in the future. UFO Blueberry Lemonade Beer is now available in stores.
