Did you purchase a Powerball ticket last May? If so, you may have won $50,000, and you have about a week left to claim your prize.

A Powerball ticket that hit four of the five white balls plus the Powerball drawn on May 24 was sold at Sunoco No. 7687 at the Delaware House Travel Plaza along I-95.

The winning numbers for the drawing are 28-32-33-38-62 and Powerball 15. The Power Play is 2. The $50,000 winning ticket in Delaware did not purchase Power Play, said Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery. The odds of winning the $50,000 prize are one in 913,129.

Delaware Lottery winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The $50,000 winner has until May 24 to claim the prize. Because the prize is more than $5,000, the winner must make a claim at the Delaware Lottery Office 1575 McKee Road, Suite 102, in the McKee Business Park in Dover. The office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Delaware has two other unclaimed prizes of $10,000 or more.

A Multi-Win Lotto ticket for the Dec. 29 drawing is worth $59,100. It was sold at Redner's Warehouse Market at 25 Greentree Drive in Dover. The winning numbers are 01-03-09-13-31-33.

A Mega Millions ticket for the Jan. 2 drawing is worth $10,000. It was sold at Shore Stop No. 266 at 1612 S. Du Pont Highway in Dover. The winning numbers are 01-42-47-64-70 and Mega Ball 22. The Megaplier is 4.

Both of these winning tickets also must be taken to the Delaware Lottery Office.

If any of the prizes are not claimed, the money will be returned to the Delaware General Fund.

In the past month, Delaware has twice sold $1 million lottery tickets.

A group of 13 co-workers in Newark split $1 million from the Powerball drawing on May 2, according to Delaware Lottery officials. Each took home $58,461.38 after taxes for matching all five white balls; they didn't get the Powerball.

The men had contributed $4 each and purchased 26 tickets at Books & News near Newark. The odds of winning $1 million in Powerball are one in 11,688,054.

The men, who wanted to remain anonymous, said they had been playing Powerball and Mega Millions together for about 15 years and would continue to play after their big win, according to lottery officials. “We already have our tickets for the weekend!” one of the men said after claiming their prize on May 4.

In the Mega Millions drawing on April 20, a 56-year-old Newark won $1 million before taxes, lottery officials said. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, matched all five white balls but missed the Mega Ball to win $760,000 after taxes.

The man, a Delaware Lottery player since the 1990s, had bought one Powerball ticket and one Play 3 ticket using Quick Pick at Skyway One in Newark, officials said.

The odds of winning $1 million in Mega Millions are one in 12,607,306.
