While Indian actors such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut have returned home after their Cannes adventures, Pakistani star Mahira Khan is still in the south of France, and still slaying it with her style. Mahira shared a string of new pictures of herself on her Instagram account throughout Tuesday.

She wore her ‘favourite’ Nicolas Jebran during a night shoot on the Croisette. She also shared a special GIF to accompany her earlier snap, and captioned it, “Last night was special and so is this gif.” In the photo (and the fiery GIF) she can be seen in a shimmery violet dress as she takes a stroll along the seaside.

She followed it up the next day with a picture shot on a balcony with the sea in the background. According to her caption, she was wearing Maison Yeya. But posing for the shutterbugs wasn’t all that she did at Cannes. Mahira attended a talk organised by L’Oreal, the brand she was representing, and shared a picture of herself listening intently to supermodel Doutzen Kroes. “Have had amazing conversations over the last two days.. this being the most empowering. Listening to other women talk about their journeys.. the success and vulnerabilities that come along the way,” she wrote, thanking L’Oreal for the opportunity.

She ended her series of Instagram photos with another summery shot by the seafront. She wore a light pant suit by Ermanno Scervino as she soaked in the sun.

Mahira’s sole red carpet outing was for the premiere of Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman on Monday, which was also attended by Sonam Kapoor.

Although her photographs have been mostly appreciated for their understated style, many people who left comments on them accused her of disrespecting her culture.
