Guj BJP celebrates Karnataka success

With saffron brigade emerges as the largest party in Karnataka Assembly elections, BJP workers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah’s home-State Gujarat came into celebration mode at the party’s State headquarters ‘Shri Kamalam’ situated on the outskirts of the State capital Gandhinagar.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, State BJP chief Jitu Vaghani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and hundreds of BJP workers assembled at Shri Kamalam to celebrate success of their party in Karnataka. Party workers and leaders applied Gulal on each other’s face, burst fire-crackers, danced on the bits of Nagara and distributed sweets as trends started coming in the afternoon.

“Congress is losing one after another State. People of the country are rejecting the opposition party everywhere. Today’s result is clear indication of BJP’s victory in 2019 Lok Sabha’s elections. Now Congress reduced to mere three states – Punjab, Mizoram and Puducherry,” said Rupani while talking to reporters.

People of Karnataka approved Narendra Modi’s politics of performance, said Vaghani adding that this is remarkable victory in the southern State and acceptance of Central Government’s development agenda.

“Congress lost its reputation by adopting divisive politics. Opposition party’s propaganda against Modi government didn’t work. During Gujarat elections Rahul Gandhi and other leaders tried similar tactics but failed measurably,’’ said Gujarat BJP chief.

Victory chariot started its journey from Gujarat and now it has reached to Southern parts of the nation and it would keep marching in other assembly polls too, he claimed.
