The Senate on Wednesday voted to overturn the Federal Communications Commission's rollback of Obama-era "net neutrality" regulations. Democrats and Republican Sens. Susan Collins, John Kennedy and Lisa Murkowski backed the move to undo the FCC's December 2017 decision, but the measure faces little chance of passing in the House. It would also require President Donald Trump's signature. In December, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai said the rules, which were designed to prevent internet service providers from favoring certain sites, were "heavy handed."
