Larry Eugene Smith, 73, of North Sewickley Twp., died Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice. Born December 3, 1944, in Grove City, Pa., to the late Eugene Smith and La Rue (Fix). Larry was employed at J&L Steel Company, as well as other companies over the years, where he worked as a heavy machine operator for twenty-eight years. Larry also worked as a cleaner at E.B. Peffer Cleaning Company, Inc. Larry had many interests and hobbies such as carpentry work, landscaping, woodwork and was tremendously talented at the wood lathe. He also loved using his "Kubota" backhoe every chance that he had but nothing compared to his passion for fishing, especially with his daughter Tammy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria A. (Vok) Smith, in 2014. Larry is survived by one daughter, Tammy Smith; Beaver Falls; one sister, Janet Miller; New Brighton; one brother, Rodger Smith; Florida; two nieces, Bridgett, Texas, and Connie, New Brighton, and four nephews, Luke, Pete, Mike and Ronnie, all of Pa.
