Westport High sophomore Annie MacMaster remained undefeated in team matches, helping the Wildcats (7-5, 4-2 league) to edge West Bridgewater 3-2 in Mayflower Athletic Conference girls' tennis on Wednesday at the Diane Snyder Tennis Complex in Westport.

MacMaster rallied from a 5-2 second-set deficit to defeat Hannah Russo 2-6, 7-5, 6-4. Russo is still alive in the South Sectional Individual Tournament.

Westport's Amber Valcourt won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3, and the second doubles team of Brianna Quinlan and Sam McCarthy broke a 2-2 tie when they prevailed 3-6, 7-6 (3), 6-1.

Dartmouth 4, Durfee 1: At Dartmouth, Adriana Fernandes' 6-2, 6-4 win over Sophia Crane accounted for Durfee's point in this loss.

Fernandes had beaten Crane 10-6 in a third-set supertiebreaker in their first meeting.

Durfee is 4-9.

West Bridgewater 5, Westport 0: At West Bridgewater, Westport seventh grader Evan Kidd (10-1) endured his first loss of the season, falling to WB eighth grader Graham Russo 6-0, 6-1 in this Mayflower Athletic Confrence match.

Westport is 5-7 overall, 3-3 league.

Dartmouth 5, Durfee 0: At Durfee, the Hilltoppers slipped to 8-6 with this loss.
