Kartik Aaryan gets his wish, to work with Kareena Kapoor in Karan Johar’s film

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who rose to fame with his latest, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, will have his dream fulfilled as Karan Johar has signed him for a film that also features Kareena Kapoor Khan. Reports say that either Janhvi Kapoor or Kriti Sanon may be signed as the second leading lady in the film.

Earlier talking about his desire to work with Kareena, Kartik had said, “Of course... Why not? Our show became a big hit, which is good thing to have. I was really glad that I was walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra for the first time, so it was great experience for me and walking with the stunning Kareena Kapoor has been a memorable experience for me. Let’s see hopefully in future, we will work together.”

Aaryan walked the ramp with Kareena Kapoor Khan at designer Manish Malhotra’s show in Singapore.

Kareena and Kartik will share screen space in a film that will be directed by newbie Raj Mehta who earlier worked with KJo and Shashank Khaitan on a couple of Dharma ventures. The upcoming movie which will be produced by Dharma will go on floors soon after rest of the cast is decided. Kareena is yet to sign on the dotted line but has given her consent in principle, according to a press statement.

Kareena is currently awaiting the release of Veere Di Wedding that also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
