Veterans in Nelson, Amherst, Augusta and Albemarle counties can sign up for a free faith-based, 12-week course designed to address the effects of combat trauma.
REBOOT Combat Recovery, a nonprofit founded in 2011 by occupational therapist Jenny Owens and her husband Evan, recently organized the course that started May 15 at Rockfish Valley Community Center in Nelson County.
The course is designed for veterans and their families. The weekly course, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will start with a free meal; free child care will be provided.
