Nearly 40mn tickets sold via Paytm in FY '18

One97 Communications Limited, the company which owns major, Paytm, announced that 38 million tickets have been sold in the financial year ended March 31.

The company also announced that driven by the consistent growth in its flights, trains and bus ticketing categories, has registered three-fold growth in FY '18 alone, compared to last year, and is aiming to achieve two-fold growth in ticketing volumes by the end of the current fiscal.

As per the company, more than 85 percent of all come from the app, and its are vastly popular across the metros, mini metros as well as tier-II and tier-III cities such as like Jaipur, Indore, and Lucknow, among others. It has also forged direct relationships with all domestic and international airlines.
