Another thunder storm hits Delhi, weather department issues warning for the next 72 hours

The Met Department had said that the thunderstorm will continue for the next 48 to 72 hours.
A massive dust storm hit the national capital in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Strong winds, accompanied by dust, lashed the city. This comes after the deadly storm on May 13-14 claimed over 80 lives across five states in the country.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning for the next 48 to 72 hours. The weather department had said that the thunderstorm with gusty winds and rain will hit the areas of Narnaul, Alwar, Bharatpur, Mathura and Agra.

Coastal areas like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, parts of South Karnataka, north Tamil Nadu and Kerala also witness the thunderstorm activity and the Northeastern part of India is also expected to experience some activity.

Previously on May 2, at least 100 people died in north India and some other states, owing to thunderstorms.
