Someone fled from Westerville police as they attempted to stop a stolen vehicle from Columbus.
According to reports, Westerville officers found sitting on the first block of Schrock Road a vehicle that had been reported stolen by Columbus police.
About 3 a.m. April 29, officers attempted to stop the vehicle when they watched three people get inside.
The vehicle reportedly sped out of the parking lot and lost the officers, who checked the area but "were unable to locate the vehicle."
Police are reportedly reviewing security camera footage from a nearby store but have no suspects.

* Someone smashed the windows of two vehicles while they were parked on the 700 block of State Street on the morning of April 30.
According to reports, two people called police to report their cars had been broken into within 20 minutes about 11:30 a.m.
* An employee at a business on the first block of Heatherdown Drive reported that someone stole his license plate.
According to reports, another employee watched a vehicle containing a man and a woman stop at the vehicle, take the license plate off and leave about 1:30 p.m. May 2.
