Real Madrid news: Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson makes HUGE Mauricio Pochettino claim
REAL MADRID will try and swoop for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino if they lose the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Those are the thoughts of Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
Real Madrid are aiming to win the European Cup for the third successive season and their 13th in total.
Tottenham meanwhile have grave fears over Pochettino’s future and Express Sport understands the Argentine has demanded a £100million transfer kitty to splash out on new players.
Pochettino has made veiled threats over his future and wants the club to match his ambitions.
And Merson is worried that Real could replace Zinedine Zidane with Pochettino were they to lose on May 26 against the Reds in Kiev.

Real Madrid go and take Poch. He’s that good a manager, he’s the next one, he’s the next best thing
“The thing I worry about Tottenham is that if Liverpool beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final, I think they [Real] go knocking for Pochettino, I really do,” Merson said on The Debate.
“Real Madrid go and take Poch.
“He’s that good a manager, he’s the next one, he’s the next best thing.
“He’s always said he doesn’t want to manage Barcelona and that ticks a box, because he was at Espanyol.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s heard something and that’s why he’s firing all this stuff out now.
“You would never have heard him say this before.”
