Who all did Katrina Kaif crop out in this throwback pic of Varun Dhawan?

Katrina Kaif on Sunday shared a throwback image of Varun Dhawan, her ABCD 3 co-star, on her Instagram stories, and the Judwaa 2 star is barely recognisable, and going by his apparent age, certainly not the star that he is today. Katrina tagged Varun on the picture, which appears to be strategically cropped to hide the identities of several people, particularly the lady on whose face Katrina stuck an apple.

Katrina captioned the picture with a combination of their names -- Varkat.

In a statement made to announce ABCD 3, a sequel to the hit ABCD 2, in which Varun starred opposite Shraddha Kapoor, the October star said, “Working with Remo again for India’s biggest dance film is huge. I performed once in New York with Katrina and it was electric. She’s going to bring her A game so I need to get back into shape. Bhushan is not only a strong producer who has over a period of time built a great marketing and distribution machinery, he also contributes a lot creatively specially in music department.”

Katrina agreed with Varun, and said, “I am super excited to be joining Remo’s vision... Varun’s passion is so wonderful; he works tirelessly to create magic... I can’t wait to start this journey.”

Varun recently delivered one of the most acclaimed performances of his career in Shoojit Sircar’s October. The understated drama also proved to be a hit at the box office, with collections of close to Rs 50 crore. Katrina most recently appeared opposite Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to their hit action film, Ek Tha Tiger. She will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero later this year.
