Witnesses said there were two shooters involved in the killing of a Bridgeville man Friday night, according to court documents associated with a suspect's arrest.

Wanted for the murder of Corey Bailey, Mcarthur Risper Jr. turned himself in to police Monday evening. But witnesses claimed they saw a second gunman, though police have not identified one.

Two men arrived at Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville in a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee SUV around 8:20 p.m. Friday and confronted Bailey in the roadway, according to witness statements. They both fired at Bailey, striking him multiple times, according to the documents.

Witnesses to the killing identified the vehicle's color and model, and they named Risper as one of two shooters, according to court documents. Police were able to link Risper with a newer model, dark-colored Jeep Cherokee, according to the documents.

State police identified Risper as a suspect on Saturday, releasing his name and photo.

Risper turned himself in at Delaware State Police Troop 5 in Bridgeville on charges of first-degree murder, first-degree conspiracy and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.

He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1.05 million secured bond.

State police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said investigators are searching for other possible suspects in the killing. She said police won't comment on whether Risper has cooperated in the investigation or named an accomplice in the shooting.

Police haven't released a motive and court documents don't offer clues. Bailey had a long criminal history in Delaware, but Jaffe said state police haven't made a connection between his murder and past crimes, which include a rape conviction.
