After a one-year hiatus, the Immaculate High School softball team will be heading back to the Class S state tournament, a feat the Mustangs accomplished by beating Bethel 9-1 on Monday for their eighth win of the season. Olivia Kent pitched a complete game for Immaculate. Mackenzie O’Rourke had a single, a double, a run-batted in, three stolen bases and a run scored. Alexa Pannese had a single, three stolen bases, an RBI and a run scored, and Maddie Flamme had three stolen bases and a run scored. For Bethel, Annika Haskett had a double, a stolen base and a run scored, and Sara Reseska and Maria D’Arco each had a single.
