Target launching revamped men's grooming sections in 11 stores

Target Corp. said Tuesday that it is launching a new men's grooming section that will include new products and services in 11 stores. The retailer said it expects its men's grooming business to double by 2020. Featured brands will include Harry's, Beardbrand and Byrd. The section will also include men's accessories. Items will be priced from $1.49 to about $200. The new department will expand to 80 additional stores by year end. Target's push in beauty also includes a recent introduction of makeup brands catering to darker skin tones. Target shares are up more than 11% for the year so far, outpacing the S&P 500 index which is up 1.3% for the period.
