Keeley Ayala’s final high school soccer game was different in the sense that her Rider Lady Raiders weren’t there in San Marcos.
But in many ways it was like so many of her other matches. Meaning of course she scored (twice) and her team won the match. Ayala played for Region I against Region II in the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches’ All-Star Game Saturday and Region I won, 4-2. Ayala also had an assist.
Ayala, who had 23 goals and scored in all but one playoff game en route to her second regional final, is a Division I signee at Incarnate Word University.
