Vaidika Sangham holds annual day in B’pur

The Vaidika Sangham celebrated its 41st annual function here on Saturday. Rajarajeswari Peetham’s Brahmasri Swarupa Durgaprasada Sarma, devotional speaker Ippili Ramakrishna Sarma, Khallikote University Reader Dr Kolluru Narayana Rao and Sangham president Narayana Murty attended as guests.

Durgaprasada Sarma highlighted on how the Brahmins have to get the spiritual sense of Vedas through Devi Upasana, how a Brahmin should maintain the normal spiritual life according to Hindu society and the reasons why the Brahmins are unable to adopt the Vedic rituals and performances and others.

Ramakrishna Sarma elaborated on “why the Brahmins are unable to maintain the minimum standards of spiritual and Vedic lifestyle in the present society.”

Dr Kolluru Narayana Rao Guru explained “how the Brahmins should be truthful and dedicated towards their duties”.

He inaugurated the newly-designed website of the Vaidika Sangham.

Among others, V Vasudeva Sastry, KP Krishna Rao, D Suresh and A Malleswara Rao were present.

A large number of devotees, including committee members along with their families, were also present.
