Mini-truck crushed Four people & Four others injured

Four people were killed on the spot and four others injured when a mini-truck crushed them to death near Fugna bus stand on Meerut-Karnal highway in Muzaffarnagar on Sunday morning.

The accident occurred when the people were standing on the road side.  Police said the deceased included two women while the injured have been rushed to Meerut. One of the injured was in critical condition. The mini-truck driver lost control over the vehicle, leading to the accident. The deceased were identified as Narendra, Raghuviri, Resho and one unidentified man. The injured had been admitted to a hospital. 

In another incident of road mishap, in Firozabad, four members of a marriage party were killed and eight others injured when a tractor-trolley, in which they were travelling, overturned in Eka area late on Saturday night. Police said that the people from the groom side were travelling on the tractor trolley from Nagla Garariya when it overturned near Sweta roundabout at around 2300 hrs.

The deceased were identified as Kuldeep (30), Ishan (4), Jayanti (7) and Naresh (18).

The injured were admitted to the hospital later.
