While some might crave a daily fashion fix, most people need regular inspiration on how to dress to kill each and every day. Let’s face it, the well of ideas dries up pretty quick and with changing trends and a plethora of confusing choices. Are yellows in out? Do we wear flared pants to the airport, can they be worn for a casual outing as well? There are – at times – just too many questions on what’s hot and what’s not. However, our Bollywood celebrities with their bevy of ace stylists and designers are mostly on track with trend spotting (or in many cases, trend setting) and are ideal to take to lessons from on tried and tested sartorial hacks.

The newly-wed arrived in style, channelling some chic French vibes in a polka-dotted, monochrome dress from Mother of Pearl for her first look at the French Riviera. Stylist and sister Rhea Kapoor complemented the look with a white pussy bow, a pair of pearl earrings and ankle-high Chloe boots, and the Veere Di Wedding actor rouned off the curation with a Bottega Veneta tote and Victoria Beckham shades.
Another fashionista spotted at the airport was Parineeti Chopra, who kept walked out in a semi-sheer grey blouse teamed with a pair of black shorts, lightly frayed at the hem. Though her outfit was pretty regular, we like the oomph her leather boots added to the look. The Hasee Toh Phasee actor complemented her outfit with a burnt orange tote and black shades.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted at the airport keeping it easy and comfy in a baggy peplum top. The monochrome piece with frills had balloon sleeves and gave us some retro feels. The Veere Di Wedding actor complemented it with a pair of black skinny jeans and grey sneakers. Rounding off with black sunnies and a pulled back chignon, we think it was not one of her notable airport looks.
After stunning all in her gorgeous curations at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Deepika Padukone was spotted heading for home recently. Her airport attire--a Max Mara outfit--was a nude-hued bodycon midi dress, which stylist Shaleena Nathani layered with a light trench coat from the same brand. Accessorising with an olive green Burberry tote and Marc Jacobs round shades, the actor kept the tone of her attire subtle. Padukone rounded out her look with Gianvito Rossi heels and hair let loose in soft curls.
Recently, we saw Mahira Khan draped in a glorious Menahel and Mehreen sari in nude hues with a lightly embellished border and pleated detailing along the border. The simple sari was accentuated with a heavily embellished sleeveless black blouse and accessorised with a pair of emerald tear-drop earrings from Aliel Jewellers. The actor rounded out her look beautifully with her signature nude make-up, neutral lips and a mussed plait. We think she looked like a vision and the glitzy blouse more than made up for the glamour factor of Cannes.
Making another appearance at Cannes, Khan pulled an ultra-chic look this time in a lemon yellow statement sleeved number that was teamed with high-waisted flared black pants and a pair of killer Louboutin heels. The wide white belt cinching the actor's waist added definition to her attire and the actor rounded out her look with her mane of rich curls parted on one side.
Mahira Khan was spotted in a pantsuit from Leonard Paris, with their staple summer prints adorning the piece. Though we like the subtle blend of multiple hues that came together as a beautiful artwork, the collar and the prominent button line were a joy killer for us. We wish Khan had opted for a more aptly sophisticated piece in similar prints. After all, she was at Cannes!
Stepping out in a graceful cream coloured ensemble from designer Punit Balana, Kareena Kapoor Khan looked lovely. The quarter-sleeved piece had intricate gilded patterns along the neckline that were complemented by paillette work. The peplum kurti of the sharara outfit was layered with a matching dupatta and stylist Tanya Ghavri accessorised the look with gold jhumkis and a cocktail ring. Though the outfit was attractive, the makeup was even more so. For the event, the actor sported a dewy sheen with highlighted cheekbones, kohl-lined eyes and a glossy pink-tinted lip. She rounded off her look with her sleek hair coiffed in a ponytail.
