Abhishek and his elder brother Aveet were strolling near their house around 3.30 am due to a long power outage when they saw four men moving around in suspicious circumstances. “When they tried to stop the men for questioning, one of them opened fire injuring Abhishek. It later emerged that the four men were returning with a booty, after committing a burglary in the locality. Two separate FIRs have been registered in the matter,” said SSP Vaibhav Krishna.
