MUMBAI: The
Jogeshwari man arrested for alleged links with Pak-based terror elements was conspiring to conduct attacks in Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh and
Gujarat, said an ATS officer on Monday. Faisal Mirza, 32, was arrested by the ATS after Kolkata police's special task force informed it about his activities.
Claiming to look for a job, Mirza left for
Sharjah on a tourist visa and from there went to Dubai. Later, his 'handlers' sent him to Pakistan for terror training in a camp, claimed an ATS officer. He was in touch with a relative,
Farooque Devadiwala, a wanted accused in criminal cases in Mumbai. A senior officer claimed Mirza was trained to target several Indian cities. tnn
