S. counterparts in Washington for a second round of negotiations this week. The blue-chip CSI300 index rose 0.9%, to 3,909.29, while the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.3% to 3,174.03 points. The Shenzhen Composite Index however edged down 0.10% to 1,823.25, while the Nasdaq-style ChiNext slipped 0.21% to 1,830.98.
