Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday crossed his 2000 km walk in West Godavari district, completing his month-long
Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. Jaganmohan Reddy unveiled pylon at Venkatapuram village of Eluru rural mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had become a villain in denying the welfare to the people. He said that Chandrababu Naidu would get the "best villian award" for his anti-people policies in the last four years
Marking the 2000km walk, the YSR Congress also launched a solidarity walk across the 175 Assembly constituencies on May 14 and 15. The party leaders, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and other elected members of the party, along with the cadre walked for the two days exposing the failures of chief minister Chandrbaabu Naidu in getting the special category status and how he had betrayed the people along with the BJP.
The two-day yatra is spread across all the prominent mandals featuring special activities and public address. The YSR Congress cadre, along with party leaders at district, mandal and booth levels are participating in the event.
Rajya Sabha MP Vijaya Sai Reddy from his padayatra in Vishakapatnam expressed his solidarity for Jagan's Yatra and said that the opposition leader is addressing the grievances of all sections through his walkathon.
