A man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after an altercation at the Remuera Motor Lodge on Sunday night.
A man is in hospital after a fight at a campground in the Auckland suburb of Remuera.
Detective senior sergeant Greg Brand, of Auckland City Police, said police attended an altercation at an address in Remuera about 6.20pm on Sunday.
Remuera Motor Lodge manager Suzie Wu said she was carrying out evening checks of the campground, in Minto Rd, when she came across two people fighting in the TV room.
It is understood a man was stabbed during the fight.
Brand confirmed a man was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A 43-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was due to appear in the Auckland District Court on Monday.
