ISC result 2018 declared at cisce.org, 96.21% pass

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) declared the result of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Class 12 board examinations on Monday at 3 pm. Students can check their result on the official website of the board at cisce.org

1) Log on to cisce.org

2) Click on refresh to go to the login page

3) Select your course: ISC

4) Enter the candidate UID and the captcha.

5) Click on show result

6) Take a printout of your result

ISC result 2018: Highlights

*17 students who scored 99.25% share the second position in the ISC exams. *There are 7 joint toppers for the ISC examination who scored 99.50%. They are as follows: Abhijnan Chakraborty (Mumbai), Radhika Chandra (Lucknow), Saman Waheed (Lucknow), Sakshi Pradyumn (Lucknow), Lipika Agrwal (Lucknow), Koushiki Dasgupta Chaudhuri (Panihati) and Tansa Kartik Shah (Mumbai).

*Girls performed better than boys in ISC exams. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 97.63% as against 94.96% for boys.

*Number of girls who appeared :37,828, No. of girls passed: 36,993

*80,880 students appeared

*The council had announced earlier that the ISC students will have to score 35% marks instead of 40% to be declared successful.

*The change in the passing marks for the ISC exams will be effective from this year and not from 2019 as communicated by the board.

*The ISC practical answer scripts for subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and biotechnology were evaluated by appointed visiting examiners on the day of the exam at the school and not at centralised evaluation centres as was done till 2017.

*The ISC exams began from February 7 and ended on April 2 and the ICSE exams were held from February 26 to March 28.
