Kerala: NIA court convicts 18 in Wagamon SIMI camp case, 17 acquitted |
In Kerala, the National Investigation Agency's special Court in Kochi today found 18 accused guilty in the Wagamon SIMI camp case.
The court acquitted 17 accused in the case. Altogether, thirty-five persons faced trial in the case. The court will deliver the quantum of punishment tomorrow.
The case relates to holding a camp for arms training by the outlawed organization SIMI in Wagamon in Idukki district in 2007.
SIMI activists from different parts of the country participated in the camp.
