RCMP investigating homicide at Regina Beach

Police initially responded to a report of an assault at Regina Beach at a home on Fairchild Avenue on the evening of May 13. Arriving officers located the body of a man inside the home.
RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit were called in to assist with the investigation.

Police said they have a man in custody who is believed to be the suspect. No charges have been laid at this time.
RCMP said people should expect to see a police presence at the home over the next two days while members search for evidence.
An autopsy is being performed, and police said no names are being released at this time.
According to the RCMP, there is no danger to the public, and at this point, the RCMP is not looking for any other suspects who may be connected to this incident.
