ICSE and ISC results 2018 declared, here are the highlights

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination declared the results of Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) or Class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Class 12 board examinations on Monday at 3pm. Students can check their result on the official website: cisce.org

Class 10 students can get their results via SMS by sending ICSE<Space><Unique Id> to 09248082883. Class 12 students can also do the same by texting ISC<Space><Unique Id> to 09248082883.

ICSE and ISC results: Highlights

*17 students who scored 99.25% share the second position in the ISC exams. They are S Aditya Krishna of Kuriakose Elias English Medium School, Kottayam; Kushagra Agarwal of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur; Sanjeevani Hajra of CMS Lucknow; Meenakshi of St Joseph’s School, Bhagalpur; Aakanksha Rai of Gems Modern Academy, Dubai; Nidhi Priya of Lucknow Public College, Sahara States, Jankipuram, Lucknow; Jaydeep Basu of Modern English Academy, Barrackpore; Antra Kapoor of The Shri Ram School, Gurugram; Mansi Acharya of CMS Gomti Nagar, Lucknow; Rishav Jalan of Don Bosco School, Liluah, Howrah; Abhishek Agarwal of Loyola School, Jamshedpur; Priya Khajanchi of Smt Lilavatibai Podar High School, Mumbai; Fiza Khan of Seth MR Jaipuria School, Lucknow; Rakshita K Deshmukh of Smt Lilavatibai Podar High School, Mumbai; Ritisha Gupta of The Bishop’s School, Pune; Tamanna Dahiya of Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun; Asmita Sarkar of Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata.

*There are 7 joint toppers for the ISC examination who scored 99.50%. They are as follows: Abhijnan Chakraborty (Mumbai), Radhika Chandra (Lucknow), Saman Waheed (Lucknow), Sakshi Pradyumn (Lucknow), Lipika Agrwal (Lucknow), Koushiki Dasgupta Chaudhuri (Panihati) and Tansa Kartik Shah (Mumbai).

*Girls performed better than boys in both ICSE and ISC exams. The pass percentage of girls in ICSE exams were 98.95% as against 98.15% of boys. In ISC, girls achieved a pass percentage of 97.63% as against the 94.96% of boys.

*183,387 students appeared for ICSE exams, and 80,880 students took the ISC exams.

*98.51% students cleared the ICSE exams, 96% students passed ISC exams

*Swayam Das of St Mary’s ICSE School in Mumbai tops Class 10 with 99.40%. The 2nd position is shared by Jasmine Chahal from Jalandhar and Anokhi Mehta from Mumbai who both scored 99.20%.

*Here’s how to check your result. Log on to cisce.org and select your course: ICSE or ISC. Enter the Candidate UID, Index no and the Captcha. Click on Show Result. Take a printout of your result.

*The council had announced earlier that the pass marks for the ICSE exam will now be 33% instead of 35%, and 35% for ISC students, instead of the 40%.

*The ICSE Class 10 result 2018, and ISC Class 12 result 2018 will be released on CISCE’s official website cisce.org at 3pm today.
