ICSE, ICS results out: Southern region fares best

Students can check their results at cise.org or via SMS.

The results for the Class 10 Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) and Class 12 Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams were released on Monday.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE) announced on its website that students can check their results at cise.org or via SMS.

To receive the results by SMS, the candidate will be required to type “ICSE” or “ISC” followed by a space and then the unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.

 

Girls outperform boys in ICSE

The total pass percentage for the exams was 98.51%, with students from 2,161 schools taking the exams.

Exams were conducted in 61 written subjects.

The girls outperformed boys.

There were 977 candidates with learning disabilities, out of which 94 candidates got above 90%.

 

Souther regions perform best

There is a pass percentage of 96.21% for the Class 12 ISC exams

A total number 80,880 students from 1043 schools across the took the exams, which were conducted in 48 written subjects. The exams were conducted between February 7 and April 2.

Around 143 candidates with learning disabilities took the exams, out of which 13 students scored about 90%.

A press release issued by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) states that southern region has fared the best compared to other regions in the country. The pass percentage of the southern region is 99.69% in the ICSE examination, while it is 98.38 percent in the ISC examination.

 

Exam toppers

ICSE: Swayam Das from St. Mary's ISCE School, Navi Mumbai is the all-India topper with 99.40%.

Jivansh Kakkar and Manvi Kumar from Sriram School are the toppers for Delhi-NCR with 98.8%

ISC: Seven candidates top with 99.50%. The second position is shared by 17 candidates with 99.25%, while the third position is shared by 25 candidates with 99%.

Antara Kapoor from Sriram School is the topper in Delhi-NCR with 99.25%
