2018-05-14 08:43

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns were officially crowned Absa Premiership Champions on Saturday afternoon for a record eighth time.

The Tshwane outfit celebrated the handing over of the silverware in front of a packed crowd at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium after their goalless draw against Bloemfontein Celtic.

Head coach Pitso Mosimane became only the second coach to win the coveted trophy three times with the same club, equaling Gavin Hunt's record with SuperSport United.
