The wait for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) class 12 exam results is finally over as the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on Monday released both the results of Class 10 and Class 12 at 3 pm.
Mumbai's Swayam Das has emerged as the Class 10 all-India topper with a score 99.4 per cent. Seven students have topped the Class 12 exam with an identical score of 99.5 per cent.
The girls have outshone boys yet again. According to CISCE Council CEO, Gerry Arathoon, Class 10 results recorded a pass percentage of 98.5 per cent, while 96.21 per cent of the students passed Class 12 exam.
As the announcement has been made, the results are available on CISCE's official website cisce.org. The results are also available on third-party cisce.examresults.net, results.nic.in and cisce.azurewebsites.net.
CISCE will announce the ICSE and ISC results after a press conference at the Council's office in Noida, according to a release issued by the board.
"The CISCE council will announce the results at 3 pm on May 14. The results will be made available through CAREERS portal, the website of the council and through SMSes," CISEC Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon told news agencies.
From this year, CISCE has slashed pass marks for both class 10 and class 12 exams. Class 10 students now need only 33 marks to qualify, down two marks from previous year's pass marks. For ISC, pass marks have been reduced to 35 from 40.

Step 3: Enter the roll number and registration number. Click on 'submit'

Step 2: Type message in the following format - ICSE <space> 1234567 (seven digit unique id)
Step 3: Send the message to 09248082883
A total of 266,011 students had reportedly appeared for the examinations -- 184,253 of them in the class 10 examination.
The ICSE exam 2018 were held from February 26 to March 28, while the ISC exams were conducted from February 7 to April 2.
Last year, 98.58 per cent students had cleared the ICSE exam. Ashwin Rao from Bengaluru and Muskan Abdullah Pathan from Pune had topped the class 10 exams with 99.4 per cent marks each.
