President Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) is in deep trouble in the Season 2 finale of Designated Survivor. And it's so deep, he may not even be president for much longer!
With Hannah's (Maggie Q) actions being looked at by the Attorney General, the case is dragging in Kirkman for his role in Hannah's break-in while she was a civilian but claimed she was working for the White House (oops). The AG says he won't press charges if Kirkman agrees to not run for re-election, something that doesn't sit well with Kirkman.
Are they bluffing, or could Kirkman really be leaving the White House? And what about that final gunshot in last week's episode? Did the bullet find its target in Kendra (Zoe McLellan)?
Unfortunately, whatever dangling threads are left in the Season 2 finale will be left unanswered, as ABC canceled the show after two seasons. But showrunner Keith Eisner promised several big events would transpire in the final hour -- including a death -- so we'll be watching!
Designated Survivor airs Wednesday nights at 10/9c on ABC.
