Indore : Two persons were severely injured after a mini truck in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck on Bypass Road on Saturday morning.
The front portion of mini truck damaged badly in the accident and it was with difficulty that they could be taken out from cabin by police.
According to police, the incident took place near Omaxe City on Bypass. Forty-year old Pritam Singh was driving the mini truck loaded with grocery goods. Virendra was sitting next to him. Both are residents of Guna.
Pritam Singh was driving the mini truck at high speed and before he could spot the parked truck and press brakes, the mini truck rammed into parked truck.
The passersby tried to take them out from truck’s cabin and informed the police. They were later taken to the hospital. Both are reported to be out of danger.
In another incident, a mini truck driver was stuck in the cabin when his truck collided with another truck in Simrol on Saturday.
According to police, Burhanpur resident Sheikh Miraz was bringing bananas in his truck when a truck coming from opposite side hit him. He was stuck in the cabin and was taken out by police. At present, he is undergoing treatment in city hospital.
