Star Wars live-action TV series timeline revealed

Filmmaker has revealed that the "Star Wars" live-action TV series will be set between the original trilogy (IV-VI) and the current trilogy (VII-IX).

Favreau, who is serving as the on the series, told Nerdist that the show will look into events seven years of Endor in "Return of the Jedi" and approximately a couple of decades before the events in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

He also revealed that the show would feature all-new characters. Some of the new characters will be created using the same bleeding-edge which he used on 2016's "The Jungle Book".

No premiere date, episode count or a title for the project has been announced as of yet.
