Liverpool transfer news: Yerry Mina has told Barcelona players he is joining Reds - report
BARCELONA defender Yerry Mina has reportedly told his Barcelona team-mates he expects to be at Liverpool next season.
Barcelona signed Mina back in January but the defender has endured a difficult first campaign at the Nou Camp.
That has led to talk of a shock loan move to Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp eyeing more defensive reinforcements.
Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan continue to struggle for consistency, with Virgil van Dijk Liverpool’s main centre-back.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Mina has told Barcelona players he will be signing for Liverpool on loan.
However, Barcelona are hopeful he will make the grade.

The Catalan giants have endured problems at the back ever since Carles Puyol retired back in 2014.
Samuel Umtiti has proven to be a dream partner at the back for Gerard Pique.
But Thomas Vermaelen has toiled with injuries preventing the former Arsenal star from impressing.
Diario Gol say Liverpool and Barcelona still need to agree on some details before the deal goes through.
However, Mina himself supposedly expects to be strutting his stuff at Anfield next term.

Meanwhile, Barcelona boss Valverde has defended himself amid criticism from failing to play Mina more.
"I see that I have many countries revolutionised!” he joked.
"Yerry Mina is a centre-half and we have four in the squad.
“He came at a difficult time to be part of the team, because it was the middle of the season, he has helped us and can still do it, but I trust the centre backs I have."
