The Hindu Auto Expo evokes good response

Many companies display their new model cars

The first ever auto expo organised by The Hindu in Vizianagaram evoked good response on the first day itself on Saturday. Many customers along with their family members visited the exhibition organised in Gurajada Kalakshtram located adjacent to the central library. Many top companies displayed their new model cars in the exhibition, providing an opportunity to the customers to select cars, SUVs and bikes which would be suitable to their families. Many organisations sent their representatives to buy the vehicles for the official needs.

Varun Nexa, Jayabheri Nexa, Sundaram Honda, Central Hondo, Leela Krishna Toyota, Viswarupa Renault, Lakshmi Hyundai, Mahavir Skoda and Dadi Honda displayed their vehicles in the exhibition organised in the spacious ground. They expressed happiness for the overwhelming response from the customers of Vizianagaram and nearby towns like Salur, Bobbili, Parvatipuram and others.

Viziaiangaram Superintendent of Police G. Pala Raju, who formally inaugurated the The Hindu-Auto Expo, expressed happiness with the sale of high-end model cars and SUVs in in tier-2 city of Vizianagaram. “The exhibition indicated the development of Vizianagaram in the last few years. Many people who used to go Visakhapatnam to select the right vehicle got opportunity to buy the cars in Vizianagaram itself. They don’t need to visit all showrooms since every detail is available with the presence of representatives of all companies. Special discount and exchange offers are added advantages,” he added.

Tough competition

Vizianagaram Grandhalaya Samstha Chairman B.S.S.V. Narasinga Rao, Motor Vehicle Inspector B.Murali Krishna who accompanied Mr. Pala Raju hoped that The Hindu would organise more such events in future to benefit people of Vizianagaram.

“High-end model vehicles at affordable cost are available for the customers with the stiff competition among the companies,” said Mr.Narasinga Rao.

Mr. Murali Krishna said that new model cars were having more security features. “We request people to give utmost priority to safety features since pick up is more for new model vehicles,” he added.

More customers are expected to visit the Expo on Sunday as almost all the companies got huge enquires.
