DDA removes 450 illegal structures

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in a statement said that within a span of 10 days, over 450 temporary structures across the Capital have been removed.

The urban body, further, said that the removal of encroachment was carried out based on the recommendations of a special task force, that is constituted by officials of the DDA and the civic bodies.

DDA officials said that between April 27 and May 6, while approximately 8,500 square metre of government land was reclaimed in south Delhi, close to 6,600 square metre of land was retrieved from north Delhi.
