Heritage Malta is tomorrow organising an activity called ‘Breakfast at Għar Dalam’, comprising a breakfast served in the scenic outside space of the Għar Dalam museum, followed by a guided tour of several archaeological, historical and natural features in the area.
Besides viewing the prehistoric cave and the museum exhibits, participants will also visit the Ta’ Kaċċatura underground cistern, the foundation of a Roman villa, and Casa Ippolito, a derelict 17th century farmhouse in Wied Ħas-Saptan.
The breakfast will be served at 8am and will be immediately followed by the tour, which ends at noon. The event is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Participants should wear comfortable shoes as the tour involves a considerable amount of walking. Tickets are limited and bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
