Indore: City crime branch on Friday managed to remove a video from a porn website after receiving a request from a woman who is a local resident. The appearance of woman in the video was the same as the woman who requested to remove it from the site. Crime branch took note and managed to remove the video.
ASP (crime) Amarendra Singh said that the woman’s husband had informed that someone had uploaded a video on a porn website in which the woman looks like his wife. The crime branch officials started investigation and they asked his wife about the video. She refused to cooperate with police in the investigation and said the video has strained her relationship with her husband. She said she is not the woman projected in the video. She also requested police officials to remove video from the website.
On woman’s request, crime branch team collected evidences and removed the video after technical investigation into the case. Singh further said that the person who lodged a complainant was about to divorce his wife due to video being viral on the internet. Later, crime branch officials counselled the man and woman due to which the man changed the decision to take divorce from his wife and they started living normal life.
